When this unit deals combat damage to a base: Discard a card from the defending player's deck. For this phase, you may play that card from their discard pile, ignoring its aspect penalties.
Always discard from the top of a deck, unless an ability specifies otherwise. Abilities that let you play a card require you to pay that card’s cost unless specified otherwise. “Combat damage” is only the damage dealt during the “deal combat damage” step of an attack.
