Rules
Using Poe's action ability to flip and attach him to a unit allows him to enter play as an upgrade but is not considered deploying him. If he is defeated as an upgrade or unit without having used his Epic Action to deploy, it is still available to use. Poe attaching to a unit does not make it a Leader Unit, though he is a Leader Upgrade. If an opponent takes control of the unit Poe is on, Poe remains attached as an upgrade under your control. Only you may use his action ability, even while he is attached to an enemy unit.
