Ambush While attacking, if no other units have attacked this phase, this unit deals combat damage before the defending unit.
Ambush is an ability that triggers at the same time as “When Played” abilities. The unit does not have to be ready in order to attack. If Anakin's Podracer deals combat damage first, and the defender is defeated by that damage, it does not deal combat damage back. If it survives and has Grit, it deals bonus damage from Grit when dealing combat damage back.
