When Played: Name a card. While this unit is in play, each non-leader card an opponent owns with that name, including those not in play, loses all abilities (and can't gain abilities). Plot
Abilities that refer to a card’s “name” do not include the subtitle of the card. Until Galen leaves play, the cards with the chosen name lose all abilities. This effect is not changed if an opponent takes control of Galen. If Galen is captured and then rescued, his "When Played" effect does not resume. Galen's ability affects each card owned by each opponent. Cards with the chosen name can't gain abilities while Galen is in play. You can name any card when using Galen's ability, including bases and tokens.
