Rules

Abilities that refer to a card’s “name” do not include the subtitle of the card. Until Ryder leaves play, opponents can't play cards with the chosen name. This effect is not changed if an opponent takes control of Ryder. If Ryder is captured and then rescued, his ""When Played"" effect does not resume.
